Coloring Icon Tutorial-02
Well since I got such a great feedback from my first tutorial, here is my second, I think I might do a tutorial on wallpaper,
Using Photoshop CS2

So lets Begin
1) Crop your image to your liking, I took from Fantastic four

2) Duplicate the base and set it to Screen (Blending Mode) 100%.

3) Then Click Layer>New Adjustment Layer>Selective Color, Now enter these:

 RED:        -100 YELLOW:    +50

CYAN:        +29WHITE:        +51

NEUTRAL: +40BLACK:      +90

Your image should like this now

4) Duplicate the base layer twice and bring them to the top. Set both the layers to Softlight (Blending Mode) 100%

5)Then create a New layer on top, and fill with #1fb2bf and set it to Softlight 100%
6) Create another New layer on top and fill with #2e083e and set it to Exclusion 100%
7) Create one more New layer on top and fill with #ff9320 and set it to Softlight 63%
8) Then click back to your original base and sharpen it once (this is optional), then add text or any kind of brush you like and wolla!!!

Here are a few examples using the same coloring:

I tend to ignore tutorials that involve selective coloring, but after reading through this, I think I can actually figure it out. I shall hafta try this. =)

May I ask where you found your F4 images?
